Description:
A WHOLE child is a child who is given the opportunity to reach his/her full-potential in all areas - academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Schools, parents, and the community all have the same responsibility and goal - to help children become healthy, productive, and independent adults. Everyone needs to work cooperatively so that a child can reach his/her full-potential as a WHOLE child and ultimately as a WHOLE adult.
This workshop will address:
-- what is a "WHOLE" child?
-- Strategies, activities, and resources to nurture a WHOLE child.
-- Tips to help you navigate the school system.
-- Understanding realistic expectations of parents, teachers, and students.
-- Information to develop good school skills.
-- Tools and strategies to maintain effective home-school communication.
