GUANGZHOU: About half of the young people who become addicted(成瘾的) to surfing(冲浪) the Internet suffered(忍受) some sort(各类) of major psychological(心理) setback(挫折) in their childhoods, the results of a survey(调查) have shown.

The results of a survey of 641 young Internet addicts(成瘾者) were released(释放) in Wuhan at the recently concluded(结果) annual(每年的;年刊) conference(会议) on subject that was hosted(东道主) by the China Association(协会,社团) for Science and Technology.<最近结束的,由中国科协举办的,武汉市年度会议议题公布641名青少年青少年互联网成瘾者被释放。>

From April 2006 until February this year, researchers surveyed 641 young Internet addicts who were staying at the General(a. 一般的,普遍的;a. 一般的,普遍的) Hospital of Beijing Military(a. 军事的n. 军队 ) Area's department of psychological addiction diseases.
